This may seem obvious, but make sure your guests know that by “wedding on the beach” you mean “on the sand” so they can prepare accordingly. Tell them to bring sun glasses, hats, or visors. Squinting if the sun happens to be in their eyes during the ceremony is very uncomfortable and distracting. Also tell them that you will have a shoe valet that they can leave their dress shoes with in exchange for flip-flops, and that the valet will have a de-sanding station (soft bristled paint brushes) for when they need to put their shoes back on. If your wedding is in the warmer months, be sure to have bottled water available. If it’s the middle of winter, you’re probably okay, but who has a beach wedding in the middle of winter?
