Come visit the Laguna Craft Guild in Laguna Beach on the Main Beach Cobblestones for a free afternoon of admiring and enjoying local Laguna artists selling their arts and crafts! The Laguna Beach Craft Guild is a non-profit organization created in 1978 to give Laguna Beach artists the opportunity of selling their arts and crafts to the public. They represent a variety of art mediums; potters, glass blowers, textile artists, jewelers and many others as well. Come on down and visit us on a Sunday afternoon! Once you are done admiring the amazing art works wander along the beach and admire the Laguna Beach vacation rentals right along the shore. If you’re lucky there might even be a vacancy!
Some of the artist you will see there…
Patsee Ober is an experienced waterwoman and photographer. Her passion is to photograph underwater tidepool scenes along California’s shoreline and eventually, around the world.
Mike Brennan is another unique artist that will be showing his work. His work is individually thrown. He formulates his own glazes and relies mostly on instinct during firings. The spontaneity of raku, where earth, fire and nature meet, makes each piece one of a kind.
Art Z photo poetry is a beauty of its own. Capturing not only beautiful photographs but also the emotions and the words to go with them. Art Z uses a unique style of photography when photographing your events and portraits to capture those precious moments that cannot be duplicated.
Tracey Moscaritolo loves to paint and she loves color! Her paintings impart a true sense of peace and tranquility, transporting them to some of the world’s most serene locations. Her work has been described as “sophisticated simplicity.” Her paintings make people happy!
Rachel, who has be making jewelry for years, has travel extensively which has helped her to form who she is today in the jewelry industry. With her love of various metals and natural gemstones and pearls, into a completely fresh approach to jewelry, all her own creation. Each piece is fabricated by hand, utilizing cold joinery applications and Rachel’s own personal design touch. She also enjoys playing with the natural patinas of metals. Rachel is constantly designing and creating, inspired daily by the amazing possibilities of natures resources… this is jewelry meant to be worn & enjoyed!
Cindy Stalnaker, a fused glass & bead artist, learned her craft by studying with glass craftsmen in California, Italy, and Sweden. She handcrafts each item, designing and fabricating in her studio in Laguna Beach, California. Each piece is a one-of-a-kind fused and slumped glass item for both personal adornment and the home. Many of her creations feature sparkling accents of dichroic glass, adding brilliant highlights to each piece.
