Families with children, head south of Laguna Beach where Dana Wharf Sportfishing and Whale Watching give twenty-minute spooky cruises of the Dana Point Harbor on a Halloween decorated boat. Entry fee are nominal and $1 goes to a local charity.

Everyone is welcome to check out this fun and educational all day Halloween event at Doheny State Beach. Visitors are welcomed to explore educational booths, a spooky walk, art & crafts activities, fortune tellers and more! The event is free and fun for all ages - guest are asked to donate a can or box of non-perishable food for charity.
Halloween Time at Disneyland!
For kids of all ages, be sure not to miss Disneyland’s Halloween Time throughout the month of October. The Haunted Mansion has been taken over by the characters of ‘A Nightmare Before Christmas’, Ghosts are trying to escape from Space Mountain, and the Hollywood Tower of Terror is inhabited by more ghouls than usual. Not only have the attractions been altered, but Main Street has been decked out for fall, Dia de los Muertos is being celebrated and special parties are arranged for Trick-or-Treating inside the park every Friday, Monday and on Halloween!
Knotts Scary Farm….eeek!
The most frightening event in Orange County is the 40th Annual Knott’s Scary Farm! Thursday through Sunday, ghostly ghouls take over rides, frightening zombies creep out of foggy gauntlets boogie men sing songs and a multitude of haunted mazes are erected in the park. This adventure is excellent for a group of adults or those on a date. And because this event is pretty darn scary, it is not recommended for children under 13.
