Pageant Of The Masters 2011

Pageant of the Masters 2011
July 7th – August 31st

When you come to the Retreat Laguna in the summer of 2011, the must see event in town is the Pageant of the Masters. The Festival of Arts promotes a nightly 90 minute “living picture” of incredibly faithful art re-creations of classical and contemporary works with real people posing (covered in paint themselves) like their counterparts in the original pieces. In an outdoor amphitheatre, accompanied by a professional orchestra, live narration, sophisticated lighting and intricate sets, the artwork comes alive to encourage the appreciation, study and performance of the arts.
