Free Admission to the Laguna Art Museum
As the museum gets ready to unveil its winter exhibits, there will be FREE admission to the permanent exhibitions at the Laguna Art Museum thru November 2nd, 2012. This museum was established in 1929 by the Laguna Beach Art Association to promote all periods and styles of California art and only California art. Come to the museum to enjoy a piece of local history with an excellent view above the Main Beach.
Admission is always free from 5p-9p on the first of each month
First Thursday of the Month Art Walk
November 1st will be the First Thursdays Art Walk for visitors (and locals) to experience the Laguna Beach art scene. Take a FREE educational walk through the galleries of local and international artists, enjoy lectures, wine tastings and fall in love with that perfect piece of artwork you would like to take home. This month includes a special event at Laguna Beach City Hall for the Fine Arts reception and awards ceremony.
Sawdust Winter Festival Nov 17 - Dec 9
Get a taste of a Californian winter wonderland at the Sawdust Festival Winter Fantasy 2012. This famous non-profit, local artist centered 9-acre art and craft fair is transformed for the winter time. Come experience live holiday entertainment, community performances, hands-on art projects and local crafts for purchase. Pick up a nifty holiday gift or simply stroll the exhibitions of local Laguna Beach artists and stop at one of the many outdoor cafes.
