There are many events in Laguna to see all the different arts, which include sculptures, glass blowing, paintings, and more. If you are wanting just a little more than just to view the art, The Sawdust Studio Art Classes are a great way to show your artistic side. Create your own keepsake! Experience the magic of Sawdust Studio Art Classes and create your own unique art piece, to wear or to share, in just one two-hour session. Bring the little ones too, with the Kids art studio. Kids’ Art Studio is a hands-on art-making program offered by Laguna Art Museum on a drop-in basis on the third Sunday of every month between 2:00 and 4:00 p.m. Children and their families create a piece of art from start to finish, inspired by one of the exhibitions on view in the museum. Art projects are designed for all ages and are supervised by members of the Laguna Art Museum Arts Council. All materials are provided.
If you rather let the art be done by the professionals, we also have a something just for you. Go on a journey for an intimate glimpse into the homes and studios of twelve Orange County fine artists. Drive at your own pace on Saturday and Sunday through Laguna Beach, Dana Point and San Clemente and be welcomed into the creative spaces of these premier artists. This no-cost tour will also provide a unique opportunity to view and acquire many works not yet seen by the public.
Situated along the South Orange County coastline, this collection of talent showcases painters, sculptors, photographers, pastel, mixed media, glass and jewelry artists. All of whom will welcome visitors with a rare behind-the-scenes peek into their lives and work spaces. Visit all twelve artist studios to be entered into a free raffle drawing for several great prizes, including: artwork from Susan Jarecky, Mia Moore, Sherry Salito-Forsen and Gary Zuercher; a workshop with Carolyn Machado; and tickets to the Laguna Beach Pageant of the Masters performance. The tour begins Saturday, April 26th - 10am to 7pm and Sunday, April 27th - 11am to 6pm
