Pageant of the Masters – The Pageant of the Masters is held in an outdoor amphitheater just as you arrive into Laguna Beach from Laguna Canyon Rd. With a professional orchestra, an original score, intricately designed sets and supported by hundreds of local volunteers, this widely recognized living re-creation of classic and contemporary works is a must-see. The performance consists of 90 minutes of ‘living pictures’ with real live people dressed and posed to mimic their counterparts in the original art pieces. This year’s theme is ‘Genius’ as the festival celebrates it’s 80th birthday of bringing art to life and promises to be fun and inspiring. The Pageant of the Masters runs from July 7th – August 31st, 2012.
